The Montenegrin part of Adriatic coast is 316,5 km long and it is known for its 100 km of beautiful beaches. Among 187 of them there are 73 natural sandy beaches. On the world exhibition held in Paris in 1936 the 3 km long sandy beach of Bečići near Budva was awarded as the mostbeautiful beach of Mediterranean.

Because of undeveloped industry and small coastal towns and villages the Montenegrin part of Adriatic sea is one of the cleanest. The coast of Montenegro after Alexandria and Malagais on the third place with sunny days in a year and thanks to that it has very long bathing season from mid of April till the end of October.
